About Sausage - 2 Month Old Staffy X (Trial)
This handsome guy is one of 8 siblings. His mum was surrendered to the pound pregnant.
Sausage is 2 months old, male, Staffy cross puppy. He is a curious chunky little boy who has lots of puppy energy to explore but as soon as he is picked up, he just wants to cuddle up with his people and chill. He is super affectionate and he loves his humans close by.
Sausage is a very healthy little puppy who has been raised in a home environment. He has been very well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs (small and large) and gets along well with them all. He's met lots of people and is friendly and affectionate with them.
Sausage will grow up to be a medium dog with a solid build. We are guessing that he is a Staffy cross, so he will need to be properly trained from young age. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Sausage. If you don't have another dog to keep him company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time.
Sausage needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. With consistent training, he will make the most loyal and caring family pet. You need good fencing with no small gaps. He can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
To register your interest in adopting Sausage you can fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
PLEASE NOTE: When applying for our dogs and puppies, please ensure to list the name of the dog you wish to adopt. Please do NOT just list the reference number or the microchip number as this will delay your application reaching the correct foster carer.
You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au or www.petrescue.com.au
Sausage adoption fee is $700.00 which includes their desexing when they are old enough. It also includes their first two vaccinations. They have been treated for fleas and worms, and are microchipped.
Sausage is in foster care in Lemon Tree Passage, NSW area. Since they are not yet desexed, the are only available for adoption in the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. They will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when they are 5 to 6 months old.
PLEASE NOTE: Dog Rescue Newcastle provides individual listings with specific requirements for each foster dog. If you submit an application or inquiry and DO NOT receive a response within 5 business days, please understand that you have not met the specific requirements for this dog. Please do not be disheartened or discouraged, this simply means you were not a suitable match at this time.
