About Pip
At not quiet 12 months of age, Pip is the bestest girl. Infact, Pip here is the bestest ever Harrier/Australian cattle dog mix that you will come across.
Keen to be included in your every day adventures, Pip here is happy to be going out for a walk to investigate the great outdoors, head down to the beach or dog park or simply hang around home and be fed treats, given lots of pats and told what a good girl she is all day long.
Pip has shown an interest in water and playing with the hose and hanging out in her shell pool.
A Big love bug who just adores cuddles and to cuddle up on the couch with you why watching Netflix. Pip demands that you make sure there is room on your bed as she will make sure she fits one way or another.
Pip gets on well with other dogs, she does love to play, and whilst she wont fetch a ball, she will keep up with the dog doing the fetching.
She has lived with very dog confident and dominant Cats and may be suitable to do so again with a slow introduction. Another dog and older kids sturdy on their feet and ready for a go get 'em new best friend would be an ideal environment for this special girl who has good recall, sits and shakes when asked.
To book a meet and greet with Pip please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
