About Strudel
Strudel is a cuddly, people dog who loves nothing more than curling up with you on the couch to watch Netflix. She is a clever, food-motivated and amicable dog who loves a bless rub. Is very active and will only become more so as she grows.
She has started learning basic commands such as, ‘sit’, ‘come’ and ‘bed’, and has progresses quickly. She gets along well with her sister, Pudding, but is excited to meet more dogs when allowed. She is super good at food puzzles and hates when they run out of treats. She loves being held and cozying up to her humans. She loves to be groomed, especially when it involves peanut butter, and is very keen on a belly rub.
MY IDEAL HOME: I need a household that has time to commit to my training and leads an active lifestyle that I can join in with. I would love to go running with you! I will need ample enrichment for my brain and body through loads of different experiences, outings and adventures. I am sure to be a big part of your life!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I am full of energy but still require lots of sleep as a puppy. My energy will only grow as I become a teenager but you will be rewarded for your commitment to training.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I have loved everyone I’ve met but I am a puppy so still have to learn how to keep my teeth and paws to myself. I would be best suited to a household with older children that can understand the consistency needed in my training.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I have gotten along well with my cat foster siblings and am remarkably gentle with them. I have been watching other dogs with great interest and can’t wait to be able to meet them. With considered introductions and supervision, I would make a great sibling to a cat or another dog.

Please use these links rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
