About Milo
Meet Milo, a one-year-old male German Shepherd with an abundance of energy and intelligence. Milo is a wonderful dog with likely working line genetics, making him keen for a job to do and possessing a high level of trainability.
While Milo may be wary of strangers initially, he blossoms into a playful, energetic, and affectionate companion once he warms up to new people. With his working line energy and intelligence, Milo has the potential to become a highly skilled and trained dog, especially with the right owner.
Given his size, energy, and enthusiastic demeanor, Milo is not suited for a home with children. He exhibits excitement when meeting dogs and is a bit leash reactive, but with ongoing socialization efforts, he's improving and can now enjoy off-leash playtime with other dogs. If considering a home with another dog, the companion should be equally energetic and a rough player, as Milo enjoys vigorous play.
Unfortunately, Milo cannot be placed in a home with cats. He requires secure fencing and an active family willing to engage him in various activities. Milo would benefit greatly from an owner experienced with the breed who understands the specific needs of a German Shepherd.
If you're ready for an intelligent and energetic companion and can provide Milo with the guidance and activities he needs, he's prepared to be a devoted and skilled member of your family.
Due to my wariness of new people I may require a few meet and greets to start to feel comfortable with my new person
