Hercules is older but very energetic. He is absolutely keen for two walks a day, loves riding in the car and can do stairs scarily quickly. He doesn’t seem that interested in chasing cats, turkeys etc on his walk. He’ll chase birds out of the yard though. He does “guard” and will bark a little but. Not a problem but he’s not silent. He’s very active - doesn’t sleep much during the day and wants to be where the action is. Loves to be up with you on the sofa (has tried for the bed too but has not won that battle…. Little legs 😄). Sleeps really well at night and hasn’t woken us up at all. He’s a good companion.
Hercules does not necessarily need another dog, he would be fine as a single.
