About Bitza
This lovable, people-oriented bloke has landed on all 4 feet in foster care with SAFE Metro--he came to us from Kalgoorlie when his owner had to go into nursing care.
He has been vaccinated, vet checked, and thoroughly temperament tested. From all reports he is a senior who doesn't realise it--acting with the energy of a much younger dog. He loves to cuddle and wants as much attention as possible from his humans.
He is always happy and looking for opportunities to get a pat from anyone--a 'velcro' dog so to speak as he'll be glued to your side. He's an older gentleman so spends a lot of his time lazing around sleeping. Although he still has energy to go for walks around the park, a 20 minute stroll per day would probably be sufficient. He also loves to play with running water from the hose.
He's not been around cats, but has been good with children of all ages--and is very gentle. Has been known to mark territory in a new house, but once his scent is inside he's completely housetrained.. Good with other dogs, inside or outside of the home, Bitza is going to make a very loyal and loving family member.
Recently Bitza had a brother greyhound stay with him. The greyhound was a bit nervous so Bitza gave him his toy. Awww! Foster mum says he is a very perceptive and caring dog.
Bitza's carer has been calling him Buster--and he seems to answer to both names--what do YOU think he looks more like?
