About Zoey
Zoey is a beautiful young lady who loves affection and treats. She is an absolute delight and very easy to love and take care of.
Zoey came in with her sister, Chloe, from a cat hoarding house of over 50 cats. She was not fully socialised with humans and was initially quite scared and mistrustful.
After many months in care, today she is a different cat and ready to find her forever humans to form a bond with.
Being in care has given Zoey the opportunity to come out of her shell and find herself. She has discovered that she quite likes getting attention from humans and will often come for pats and snuggle on the couch when you watch TV. She has no issue being picked up and is very affectionate when you start patting her. She has a cute, squeaky meow and soothing purr, and she’ll get her purr going quite quickly, after some full-body pats.
Unlike her sister, Zoey is quite calm and doesn't need too much play. She is quite happy to chill in her cat tree when you are busy.
Although Zoey may take a short amount of time to become comfortable in a new home, her love is easily bought with creamy treats and long, soothing pats, and you will quickly find her returning your affection.
Zoey does not need a large amount of space and would be very happy in an apartment where she can chill in a cat tree. She is after a calm, indoor only home. Zoey is fine with other cats but would really flourish in a home as an only cat, where she can really come out of her shell.
Zoey has met children (8+) and was interested in interacting with them but would likely prefer older, calmer children over 8 years.
Please reach out if you think Zoey could be a part of your family!
