About Auki
Auki | Male | Collie x | 10 months old approx
Dog friendly: Yes
Cat friendly: Yes
Children friendly: Yes,
House trained: outside dog only.
Auki is the biggest social butterfly. He just loves everything and anything he meets with a dorky smile and a tail wag that creates a wind force.
He is super playful and loves to play in the backyard with his foster siblings. He is still quite energetic for a young dog but will happily lay by the back door once he has let off some steam. Due to this energy, Auki will need to have another dog around in his new home or a super awesome running partner to take him on long walks or running adventures.
Even though he is a little bouncy around cats, he is cat friendly. Auki tries to initiate play but some cats find him a little too full on. In saying that, he can co-exist in the back yard with the cat.
Auki is very playful around children but caution is needed as he gets excited and can get a little carried away and stops following instructions.
Crate training is still in progress. Auki is currently being crated overnight in the house as he appears to he afraid of the dark when he is alone. In a crate he settles after a short time to sleep throughout the night.
Auki is still working on his lead training. At present he still pulls on the lead a bit but he is making good progress and is coming along nicely since we have switched over to the head halti. Auki absolutely loves going for walks and is excited about everyone we meet.
Auki is $350 to adopt and comes desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated and given flea, tick and worm preventatives.
