Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Colour/Pattern: Brown Classic Tabby
DOB: 01/06/2022 (estimate)

Hey there, wonderful people - I'm Zig! I was living in a colony of strays on the side of the highway for my first 12 weeks of life. Everything changed for the better when a kind person, understandably upset seeing my family hit by passing cars, stepped in to try and help us.
SCA Qld brought me and my brother Zag into care, treated our flea burden, and nursed us back to health as we had a touch of the flu. They made sure we were desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and gained some much-needed nutrition! Even the rest of my cat-fam are receiving the help they need, as AWLQ is making sure they receive veterinary care. Zag has already found his amazing new home and now it's my turn!
I'm basically a mini tiger, thanks to my beautiful coat and playful personality! I really love exploring the house and tackling the cat toys, hehe. 🥳 I'm also a big sweetheart! While I mostly enjoy my play time, like most little kittens, I also adore being around people. I'll happily soak up your attention if it means I get scritches and pats!
I get along great with other cats, and can peacefully coexist with dogs that are respectful of a kitty's personal space. With my lovely nature and your appropriate introductions with any existing pets, I'll be sure to settle in wonderfully with you and the rest of your family!
I earned my gold star with my litter box training and I am a fan of my dinner. I tend to graze rather than eat it all at once (I like to pace myself - smart!). When I'm not hanging with you or off playing with the other animals, you can find your gorgeous little tiger curled up somewhere warm and sunny. I promise I don't snore! 😉
You need a little Zig in your heart and home! When can we meet?
Scritches,
Zig x
Medical notes
I tested negative for FIV/FeLV and have been an inside only kitty since. I should be kept inside or in an enclosure to keep me (and the wildlife!) safe and healthy.
