About Winnie
Meet Winnie, she is an American Staffy cross who is full of love. 💕
She has been in care for over 500 days, been very loved by her carers, but still needs to find her very own home 🏡
Winnie has the most affectionate nature & loves all her humans of all sizes. 👨👩👧👧
Winnie is a inside dog but loves her backyard too which must have 6ft fences to keep her safe! 🏡
However, she would also suit apartment living with a daily walk. 🦮
Winnie is extremely smart and has learnt so many tricks. She loves walks and games and learning new skills. 🎓
She can get anxious sometimes. We recently started her on some anxiety meds ($30) a month and it has changed her world. She is much more relaxed when left alone and in general. 😎
She has shared her home with another dog, I think sometimes she misses this company!🐶🐶
Her favourite thing is to spend the day and night relaxing with her humans, whether it’s inside on the couch or outside in the sunshine. ☀️
When you come home after a long day, Winnie loves to shower you with affection and play with her toys, before settling down again. 🪀📺
If you scratch her in just the right spot, she will enthusiastically nibble on your arm to say thanks! 👍

Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
