Cooper is a gorgeous boy with personality plus!

He's a bit nervous around strangers (not aggressive) just moves away and hides behind his foster carers and takes him a while to get used to strangers, then he will bond quickly.

He needs to go to someone who is home more than not.

He has been home with humans and dogs since his birth and so we do not think he would do well being left on own

He loves other dogs and he definitively needs to be in a home with at least one other dog.

He sleeps in his own bed next to his foster but most nights creeps into bed and you wake up with little one lying under covers or top next to you

Eats very well

Toilets outside or on puppy mats inside (if he cannot get outside)

Walks well on his own as well as with dogs

Cooper was one of a litter of 5 puppies that were surrendered along with their Mum and Dad to D2DR when they were just 4 days old due to financial hardship. The litter of 5 as well as Mum (Coco) and Dad (Louie) were all fostered in the same foster home. The whole family was together for 12-13 weeks so have had a wonderful upbringing and also integrated with other dachshunds and a couple of larger dogs in the foster home, ensuring the pups were very well socialised, happy, and healthy from Day 1 of their lives.

With all their vaccinations now under their belts and an excellent bill of health from our vets who have been caring for them since we got them, its Willy’s time to find his forever home.

Cooper is very socialised, enjoys the beach everyday with his foster carer and several other dachshunds.

The family that is lucky to get COOPER will certainly be blessed to have this beautiful boy around him.

Microchipped, fully vaccinated, fully health checked as per our Policy.  BOTH PARENTS WERE DNA TESTED BY D2DR AND THIS IS AVAILABLE TO VIEW.

In addition to the Adoption Fee, there is a $500 de sex bond to be paid upon adoption which will be fully refunded upon proof of desexing certificate (valid only if desexed before Willy is 15 months of age and provided D2DR is not aware of Willy being used for any breeding).
