Spud is a curious, gentle natured pup.
He is a little shy of new experiences as didn't get much training or exposure in the first few months of his life. Spud is also a typical Heeler in wanting to follow you around and be involved in everything you do. He has been living in foster with 6 other dogs and various other small animals and loves the company of other dogs and people. Spud would make an excellent farmer's companion and would also suit a family or individual as long as they are willing to involve him in their life. Spud is suited as an inside and outside dog. Spud would not cope as an outside only dog as he wants to be involved in your life and would likely become destructive from boredom and stress if kept outside. Spud is the ideal companion for anyone who wants a reliable, responsive, intelligent, friendly dog who will follow you around, be willing to get involved in anything you do and love you and keep you company. Spud is very receptive to training and will need training by his new family/person as his foster carer focused primarily on socialising.
