Beautiful 11-month-old Lulu is ready to bounce into her forever home. Lulu was recently found as a stray, unfortunately no-one came forward to claim her and she now finds herself homeless and in the pound at this very young age.
Lulu loves meeting new people, she will jump up to say hello and when she is over-excited and playing, however responds well to correction and learns very quickly to keep her paws on the ground. Whilst Lulu likes affection and will lean into you for a cuddle, sometimes she gets overwhelmed with lots of handling and will become over-stimulated and a little mouthy. Lulu would suit a home where everyone is over the age of 8 years old.
Lulu LOVES to play, tennis balls, soft toys, ropes – if it is a toy and can be thrown for fetch, it has Lulu’s name on it. Lulu loves to be chased and play tug with soft toys, she is a big puppy that will play keepings off with you and do zoomies around the yard in excitement and joy. Lulu loves to sniff everything she can and would thrive being given enrichment through treat dispensing toys, puzzles, hide and seek games, anything that will keep her quick mind working.
Lulu knows her basic commands and is a very quick learner, she loves treats and is a clever girl. Lulu walks reasonably well on lead, however when she sees another dog, she will pull hard towards them wanting to say hello. Lulu needs to work on her focus and impulse control, she would benefit from attending obedience training using positive reward-based techniques to fine-tune her manners and learn some extra skills and tricks.
Lulu loves meeting new dogs, she can get a little excited at first, however once given the opportunity to calm down and be introduced on a walk, she is able to say hello. Lulu is still young and has much to learn about dog interactions, she is learning to listen to other dogs and picking up on their cues and would highly benefit from living with a large breed male dog in her new home. Lulu loves to play, and her new brother must be happy to engage in a game of chase every now and then. Lulu would also be fine as the only dog in her new home, she has not been tested with cats or other small pets.
This bouncy girl has such a wonderful nature, she is very cheeky as all shepherds are at this age, however she wants to please and is a good girl ready to find her forever home. Lulu will fit into most family dynamics, she is a sociable, happy go-lucky girl that just wants to have fun and be loved!

Adoption details
We offer a 'Foster to Adopt' program. This means that the dog will go to live with their adoptive family for 4 weeks to ensure it is the perfect match for both the dog and new family. After the 4 weeks is complete, if all has gone well, the adoption is formalised and your new doggy companion is officially yours!
If you are interested in adopting from us, we ask that you fill out the Adoption Application form on our website (via the link provided below) with as much detail as possible, including the name of the dog you are interested in.
We do not rehome female dogs to a home where there is an existing female dog. Whilst there are always exceptions, it is generally unwise to have two females together; two males can sort it out, a male and a female can sort it out, but when two females fight, the results can be disastrous. For this reason, following the advice from numerous Veterinary behaviourists, as well as our own experience from the last eight years, we do not rehome females into homes with other female dogs.
All of our dogs are de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated
Puppies (2 months to 4 months) - $1000
Puppies (4 to 6 months) - $800
Adolescents (6 months to 1 year) - $700
