About Pancho
Pancho is a dynamic and delightful dog! He is a fast learner when it comes to tricks—he’s sure to impress you with his intelligence and eagerness to please. His curious nature means he’s always exploring and discovering new things, making every day an adventure.
Pancho is also a cuddle enthusiast. After a day of play and exploration, he loves nothing more than snuggling up with his favourite humans, offering warmth and affection. His boundless energy makes him the perfect companion for an active family who loves to stay on the move.
While Pancho has his quirks, they only add to his unique charm. He’s not a fan of machines and tries to pick fights with wheels, so a quieter home environment would suit him best. His enthusiasm sometimes leads to destructive habits, particularly when it comes to boxes, socks, and cushions. But with a little guidance and plenty of toys, Pancho can channel his energy into more positive outlets.
Pancho’s adventurous spirit means he doesn’t always come when called, so he’ll need a patient and dedicated owner to help with his recall training. Despite these minor challenges, Pancho’s loving and playful nature makes him a fantastic addition to the right home.
Adopt Pancho and embrace the joy, excitement and love he brings.
Here is a message from Pancho himself:
"Hello there, it's me, the lovable, quirky goofball that is Pancho!
I've been hanging out in temporary care the last few months and they reckon I'm an easy guy to have around. Here's the deal, twice a day, I like a short walk and take a small white disc (for my heart condition) hidden in peanut butter. In return, I'll relax with my puzzle ball while you're out and give you cuddles.
I have a sassy, playful side and am excellent at communicating if I want something.
My favourite things are food, car rides (windows down please) and turning into a sand monster (first dig a hole in the sand, then roll in the hole, preferably when wet).
On the quirky side of things, I don't like mowers, whipper snippers etc, or bikes; and will protect you from nail clippers!!!
Give me a yell if you like my profile! Love, Pancho"

Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
