About Wilbur
Wilbur is an independent yet friendly Cat looking for a special family to call his own. He enjoys spending time with his 'brother from another mother', King, and loves to cuddle up when he's not off exploring or playing in the water. Wilbur has a particular fondness for being up high, often seen perched atop the highest shelf in the room! When he's not playing he is snuggling in his fluffy bed with his fur-siblings.
Although Wilbur does have a heart condition, it doesn't ever slow him down - he remains a playful and curious feline who loves to explore. With plenty of love and attention from his new family, Wilbur will be sure to blossom into the purr-fect pet!
Medical notes
Wilbur has been diagnosed with a heart murmur.
At present it doesn't seem to effect his ability to play and get around with the other cats. If we didn't tell you.. you wouldn't know!
Wilbur stops for a little lay down every now and then (but so do most cats! lol) but is soon back up looking out the window at the birds or playing with his mates.
In the future Wilbur may require medication and may have a shorter lifespan than other cats. But also .... he may not? The vets are unable to predict his future.
Wilbur is looking for a family that is prepared to help him manage his condition as required if necessary down the track.
Adoption details
Applicants are asked to send an application:
https://form.jotform.com/232662341506047
Please include information outlining lifestyle, other pets, children and home environment and how they see a cat fitting into their lifestyle.
We ask that our cats are kept indoor for their safety which is also now required by many local councils.
Applicants are able to meet cats and kittens in the foster carers home before deciding to adopt.
There is an adoption form and a fee to be paid. We offer a two week trial to ensure the cat is the right fit. If the cat is returned during the trial period we will refund 50% of the adoption fee, however will take any of our cats back at any time should the adopters situation change and they can no longer care for the cat.
