Merlot is a kitten who loves to smooch non-stop once the introductions are done and you are his friend.

This boy has so much love in his heart and he expresses it through snuggles and cuddles with you, purring the whole time.

Merlot likes to share his love around so he’d be great in a home with older children, a couple or a single who works from home a bit. The more people to love on him the better.

Like most kitties, sudden noises can frighten Merlot. He’s a kitten who enjoys a quieter life with plenty of places for him to curl up for one of the many kittens naps of the day.

Merlot has not been exposed to other cats or dogs however he came from a backyard that was overrun with street cats. He would likely settle in a home with another kitty with slow and careful introduction over time.

We do not recommend he go to a home with a dog/s.

Merlot is very fond of his food and will chase you and the plate until you put it down for him, chirping away at you the whole time. This handsome boy is very easy to please at meal times, which makes feeding him a breeze.
