About Maraca

A snuggly and sociable calico, Maraca is guaranteed to steal your heart!
At first, she might be a bit shy, but her loving nature shines through once she knows she can trust you. Her favourite place? Right on your lap, kneading those 'biscuits' while purring away like a little engine. She's the ultimate cuddle buddy!
Maraca also has a palate for fine dining – meal times are the best times! She'll eagerly anticipate her Greenies treats, and her dinnertime antics will surely bring a smile to your face.
Maraca adores boxes too, and chasing anything that has feathers attached to it!

Like all Maggie's pets, Maraca is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be quiet and calm, full of affection and with only one or two humans in the household.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I rarely cause chaos with wild zoomies - my energy levels are moderate, and those playful bursts are just part of my charm!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Older kids (ideally 10+) who've had experience with cats before will be the purrfect match for me.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I grew up with my littermates and I'm totally smitten with my sister, so I'd be stoked to go to a home with another kitty friend or potentially a calm dog who's been exposed to cats.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
