Howdy y'all: Auroroa here - a Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog (my breed is originally from the Deep South). I'm a gentle, affectionate little lady who loves a cuddle and a little play. Butter wouldn't melt in my mouth! I'm looking for a family who will help me on my journey as I learn about the world. I can be a little bit overwhelmed in new situations, and will look to you for reassurance, but I'm still able to bounce back quickly with some encouragement! I'd appreciate a calm environment with comfortable safe spaces for me like plenty of beds and a covered crate. I'm a little bit stressed by the kennel environment, so it would be best to have someone at home with me for the first few days to help me settle in. I'm definitely open to the right family. If you have a calm social doggy friend at home, I'd love to meet them as I'm sure we'd make great companions. So when you arrive, "let's head for the wagon yard", as they say in Louisiana.
