Hey there! I'm Diesal and I'm looking for my perfect human cushion. I've been told I'm a bit big to be a lap dog but I just don't understand why that would matter. You have a lap and I'm a dog so it's a perfect match. I love to play and have lots of energy to burn. One of my favourite games is when the sprinkler is on in the backyard and I can run through, jump over and bite the water. I also love tug of war and am known for my big zoomies around the backyard. Life is just so fun! I'm still learning the ropes but I love food and am a huge people pleaser so it shouldn't take long. My foster family said that I am affectionate, gorgeous and very loving. I just need someone with a bit of time and patience to teach me all the manners and I'll be a friend you can count on.

Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I'd like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I've learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I'll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me ""no"" if I'm chewing something I shouldn't and give me a chew toy instead. I'd love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don't get bored with them.
