About Mimi
Introducing Mimi: A Wise and Sweet Tortoiseshell Beauty
After being surrendered in September 2023 when her owner passed away she thought her luck had changed when she was adopted by a lovely woman in January 2024.
The lovely person who adopted her found herself in an awful situation that no one should ever be subjected to and lived in fear for her safety. Because of the fear and threats made, she had to make the very hard decision to surrender Mimi back to NLF. She was heartbroken that it came to this but there was nothing she could do in the awful circumstances she was being subjected to. She loved Mimi so much and surrendering her back to NLF in December 2024 was so hard for her 😥
Mimi, who is 12 years old, is truly a unique cat with a personality that blends independence and affection in the most charming way. While she may not be the type to demand constant cuddles, she's undoubtedly a sweet and friendly soul. Mimi enjoys attention, but she's also content to relax in her favourite cosy spot and observe the world around her. She's a master napper and loves to relax the hours away in a state of feline bliss.
One of Mimi's greatest joys in life is the art of relaxation. She's an expert at finding the perfect comfy nook for her daily catnaps. Mimi also enjoys basking in patches of warm sunlight that fill her space, casting a glow on her beautiful tortoiseshell coat. She's a low-maintenance companion who appreciates the simple pleasures in life.
She's perfect for someone who values the companionship of a cat but also understands her desire for solitude. Mimi's low-maintenance nature makes her an ideal choice for those who want to enjoy the presence of a loving feline without overwhelming demands.
If you feel that Mimi could be the perfect addition to your family and you're ready to provide her with the love and care she needs, please reach out to us to arrange a meeting by emailing info@ninthlifefoundation.org
Let's give Mimi the warm and loving forever home she deserves to enjoy her golden years in style.

Adoption details
You need to be a pretty special cat person to adopt an elderly cat into your home. Not as sprightly as a kitten they still require your attention…even devotion. You’ll need to understand their daily routines and take some time to get to know them. Help them with grooming – a great way to bond- as they often don’t have the energy to do it properly themselves. Older cats are stress averse so be patient, observant and take a little more care of their health needs and you’ll soon have a loving companion.
All our cats have received a full health & wellness check and are ready for their new home.
If you are interested in adopting one of our furry friends please either call 4314 6654 or contact info@ninthlifefoundation.org.
