Arnie is a handsome, sweet little dog but please read carefully as he is looking for a very particular home.
Arnie won't charm you when you first meet. He won't come running up to greet you, as he doesn't know you yet. He will take some time to settle into your home and come out of his shell and we are prepared to offer his new owner and Arnie an extended trial period to give him the best second chance he so deserves.
Arnie is rather sad and we are hoping to find just the right home to see him blossom into a content and relaxed boy. Arnie would love a home with a single female owner, nice and slow paced, with a routine he can get used to. He is not a fan of males and/or busy homes with people coming and going, and withdraws into himself. He loves other dogs, so a household with another dog might be great to show him how great life can be. Arnie needs a home where his person is around most of the time. An active retiree or someone who works from home would be perfect. He will make himself at home on the lounge and is fully toilet trained.
Arnie enjoys walks once settled. He will need to remain on lead at all times.
Arnie isn't suited to living with children, only because he is flighty at loud noises or quick movements. We are told Arnie is good with cats but this is untested in our care.
Arnie is such a darling little fellow and at only 7 months old has his whole life ahead of him. We really want to see him happy and stress free. Are you the special person that Arnie needs? Please fill out our application form here or from our SAFE site click on the 'Apply to Adopt' text.
