Brrrrrt! My name is Teddles. I am a smart, energetic, and playful young cat with a big appetite! Since being rescued from a hard life as a stray, I’ve become accustomed to the finer things in life. When I’m not tearing up cardboard boxes or sleeping on the couch, I’ll sit and watch the birds from my enclosed catio for hours and hours. I’m chatty, quirky, unpredictable and make my foster parents laugh daily! I think they love me or something…

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Since being saved from a life outdoors, I have been adjusting as an “only-child” with a Foster Mum who works from home and keeps me company. Because of my playful and energetic nature, I think I'd enjoy a dog or cat companion that could match my energy in the future, but only if my fur-ever parents take the time and effort to slowly introduce me once I'm settled in.

Likes / Dislikes
I will do just about anything for Churu stix - sit, shake paws and sit up on my hind legs just to get a lick! I love cardboard, paper, hair ties, fluffy bath mats, and chin scratches. I will stand on you with all my heft and purr ferociously for pats. I love sleeping with my foster parents in their bed at night and waking them up for brekkie.

Thongs, slippers, and sandals freak me out, although I don’t know why.

My PURR-fect home would be with seasoned cat lovers who spend a lot of time with me! I don't think I would be my “best-self” around young children. I’d like to have lots of things to climb, toys and humans to play with. An enclosed catio where I can sit and watch the birds and critters is highly purr-ferred, but not essential.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

Medical Notes: Teddles is FIV and FelV negative.
