About Lucy and Red
These two beautiful dogs with gentle personalities need somewhere safe to lay their heads. It would be preferable for them to have a bigger yard or someone who has time to give them a daily walk. They have been used to wandering around the school yard at Alpurrurulam so have become used to space. However, they will not jump fences so you don't need a high one to keep them secure.
Apparently they were great with the kids and we know that both of them love cuddles and attention. Lucy does have some trust issues due to her background but Red is her calming influence. It would be better for them to be with a carer who has placid dogs or no others as we now know that Lucy was previously attacked by another dog so she is quite defensive until she is sure she is safe.
Check out our previous posts for more information on this pair but they really need some help right now until we can sort something more permanent for them. I am also happy to tell you more about them if you wish to ring me.
Please ring Sue on 0456664255 if you can help them out even for a short while. PHC will provide food, bedding and anything else required.
