On becoming Cuba
My name is now Cuba. I was sitting scared and alone in a rural pound. Silver lining pet rescue had a space for me and here I am. I am around 6 though could be older. I am such a gentle boy. My name brings forward a boisterous outgoing image I am outgoing but definitely not boisterous. I have been loved that is evident in my interactions with my foster mum. I love head scratches and pats. I could take it all day! Being a gentle calm boy I would hope my new home would be the same. I could be ok with other cats. Young children would scare me. I hope to find someone as loving as I am to cherish. I miss that ❤. I miss sleeping on the bed and on laps. I miss the constant human presence. If you’re looking to be loved and love me in return we could be a fantastic match x.
If you would like to meet me please email the rescue at fostersadoptslpr@gmail.com or pm the Silver Lining Pet Rescue Inc facebook page.

Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
