About Eclair
Eclair is a stunning, little merle koolie mix who is willing to try new things and places but will be tentative at first. She loves to play tug and is interested in the ball. Eats well and enjoys a chew and responds well to calm, gentle guidance. Eclair is a fast learner and likes to train and play, but is good at switching off.
She enjoys adventure such as the beach (loves the sand) and would love a family that can commit to ongoing training and socialisation, ideally who want a dog to do cool dog stuff with like noseworks, flyball, agility, etc.
MY IDEAL HOME: I need a family willing to give me an outlet for my breed needs, like a dog sport. They will need to be willing to train my mind and my her body. I currently sleep well during the night, and can be left by myself in the play pen.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I have high energy and LOVE to run, play, swim but I also loves a snuggle when I am tired.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I would love to be in a home with kids over 9 that know not to run away from me as I love to chase and can sometimes knock my little humans over!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I get along great with the adult Labrador I am currently living with and I have met other adult dogs who I do great around, provided they are well trained and appropriate. I have only met one cat and was unfazed.

For Cats: https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870
For Dogs: https://form.jotform.co/80677377750872
Please use these links rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
