About Bobby
Where to even begin with this handsome affectionate chap.
Bobby ticks all the boxes; he's confident, inquisitive, playful, friendly towards other felines, and very very affectionate.
He spends his days snoozing next to you in-between climbing into your lap for hugs. Yes hugs, this boy will wrap both his arms around you and hug you until you're all hugged out!
Bobby is a special cat, he has cerebellar hypoplasia AKA wobbly cat syndrome, or in Bobby's case bouncing cat syndrome!
CH won’t affect Bobby’s lifespan, it's not contagious and doesn’t require any medical intervention, it just means his body moves slightly differently from other cats. Something that doesn’t seem to faze him or limit his ability to jump up/down onto things.
His nickname is Sir Twirksalot in his foster home and the bouncing stops when he sleeps or when he’s focusing. It can be a little daunting at first, but we promise Bobby is as healthy and happy as they come.
Bobby’s ideal home would be with someone who appreciates he is a little different and is after a cat that’s happy to do his own thing, but also enjoys being showered with affection. He has a lot of love to give to the right person or family.
His foster home has 2 other cats in care who he’ll happily socialize with but doesn’t go out of his way to play with them as well as an outdoor cat run he’s enjoying exploring.
Bobby will need to be 100% indoors unless you have a secure cat run due to his CH.
He hasn’t met any dogs or small children but given his nature and slow introductions, we can’t see this being an issue.
