About Sofie
Hi, I’m Sofie but my foster mum calls me ‘darling girl’
Once upon a time I was really really sick … so sick that I was in a place called ICU for 9 whole days. I heard the vets talking about something called FIP, which meant that somehow my body made the feline coronavirus mutate which made me nearly die. I was so weak and couldn’t eat for a long time.
I’m so lucky that I was with Heart and Soul Rescue because they didn’t give up on me which is the only reason I’m alive today.
I was on some very expensive medicine for more than 3 months which saved my life. My rescue family think that I’m worth every cent of the $13,500 they spent to make me well again.
I live with lots of cats at the moment and I’m friends with everyone. Sometimes I even curl up and snuggle with my friends. I’m happy to be patted but sometimes feel a little overwhelmed - I won’t run away, I just move a bit out of reach.
I like sitting up high and watching everything going on around me. My foster mum says I’m very regal because I sit up so straight.
I’d love to find a forever home .. one I can share with another cat for company. I have all my paws crossed that it will be my turn soon.

Please email us at adoptions@heartandsoulrescue.com.au if you are interested in adopting one of our precious souls, and we will email you our Adoption Application Form.
Once we have received your completed form, we will then contact you to discuss suitability. If we feel one of our cats or kittens will be suited to you, we will arrange a home visit or ask for a short walk-through video of your home. If all goes well, we will give you a trial period of 2 weeks to see if our cat or kitten is the right one for you 💕
*Heart & Soul is a non-profit Charity, we do not receive any Government funding so we rely on donations & fundraising to cover our Vet costs, please consider a small donation so we can continue to save little lives 💗 ~ https://donations-for-heart-and-soul-rescue-inc.raisely.com/
