About š¤Beatriceš¤
Beatrice is a 5-year-old Chinchilla with a big personality! This absolute joy of a cat loves to play and to chat away to you (sometimes to herself!) and has a huge vocab of meows that she uses for different situations!
Beatrice is not a fan of other animals and as such, she is looking for a home as the only pet. This is non-negotiable, she has been clear. Beatrice is only able to be her true, glorious, free-spirited self, when she is the only pet in the home.
Another of Beaās many talents is climbing! She is incredibly agile and can jump an impressive height. She likes to use this to get a good vantage point to have a sticky nose! Beatrice is a big subscriber to the āside flopā manoeuvre and will regularly flop to her side for a tummy rub! Donāt worry though, this isnāt a trap like with some cats, Beatrice loves having her tummy rubbed, as well as loving all over patting and brushing. This is just as well, as she has an incredible thick coat that she absolutely cannot manage on her own. Bea will need daily brushing, and regular trims, as well as summer clips if she feels the heat. Anyone considering applying for Beatrice must be prepared to commit to a strict grooming routine with her, so as to avoid her coat matting to the point of pelting, as it was when she arrived in care.
Beatrice does have a nervous streak, but she overcomes it quickly with routine and stability and is looking for a mature, quiet, indoor home where she can be doted on and given the beautiful life she deserves.
Beatrice is in care in Rowville.
Please note that only enquiries that are accompanied by a completed adoption questionnaire will receive a reply.
