About Toffee
Introducing the cutie Toffee! Toffee is a Maltese x Poodle born 21st February 2018.
Unfortunately Toffee was surrendered to the facility as his owner is battling cancer & no longer able to look after him. His surrender profile states he is house trained, has no separation anxiety at home, is friendly with children & adult strangers. It also states he is good with other dogs, but has not been tested with cats.
Toffee tested quite well with other dogs, both male & female. If you have a friendly dog at home we will need to do a meet & greet with them to ensure they get along before he goes home. We believe Toffee would also be quite happy being the spoilt "only child" as he is more human focused than animal focused.
Toffee was unfazed by cats & pocket pets through a cage, so with a slow & controlled introduction he may have the potential to live with cats and small animals.
Toffee has shown no signs of separation anxiety or food aggression towards humans since being at the facility.
Toffee is such a loving man and wants nothing more than a home he can call his own and not have to worry about losing another family.
If you think you could be that furever family for Toffee, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Toffee’s adoption fee is $500, and this includes his desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Toffee is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Toffee is located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
