About Cherry
Cherry came into our rescue at only 6 weeks of age - she's now a young adult.
Cherry was not born blind. She went into cardiac arrest during recovery from her desexing procedure, thankfully her incredible vet team revived her successfully, but Cherry did not recover unscathed. She lost the majority of her vision, although we believe she can differentiate to some degree between light and dark.
She's a curious girl, with a bigger than life personality, sassy and independent!
Despite being blind, she quickly adapts to her new environment and maps it out very well. She loves cuddling up in your lap while bounding around the house with a ton of energy.
Cherry is looking for an indoor only home with no other pets. She is incredibly sensitive to new smells and is looking for a patient, calm and consistent home where she can get used to a routine to help her feel comfortable.
Overall, Cherry is an affectionate and independent addition to any home who will warm your heart with love!
