About Lucy
Lucy is an adorable red and tan kelpie girl who absolutely LOVES water, along with pats and cuddles. She is very gentle and is seeking a best friend. Lucy is good with kids and has taken on a big sister role with her foster family's toddler.
Lucy loves her food and has an affectionate nature. Her recall is excellent once a bond has been established, she has also loved every person she has met and gets along well with both quiet and energetic dogs. Lucy is a playful girl and enjoys her exercise, however she is also happy to lay at your feet for most of the day once her needs have been met.
Lucy has good manners and travels well in cars and utes. She is a pleasure to take out to new places. Lucy is happy to sleep alone and sleeps well through the night. She is a clever girl who knows basic commands such as sit, lay down & stay. Lucy is currently working on walking on a loose lead which is improving every day. She will need continued work on this with her new family. She is not phased by cars, loud noises or farm machinery.
Lucy would be best suited to an owner with a moderately active lifestyle or someone with another active dog to keep her busy and gain confidence from as she is still young. She would ideally be suited to an owner with previous dog experience who will continue with her training.
If Lucy sounds like the girl for you, please send in an application today!
Lucy is located in NSW.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
