About Mikka
*In foster care in Kirribilli, Sydney*
Hi, I'm Mikka! I'm a big boy who loves to play hard and lounge hard :)
It's simple - though I'm energetic and sporty, especially when it comes to 'soccer' with a tennis ball or leaping to catch that lobster on a string (so much fun!), when it's time to wind down you'll find me cosying it up in my favourite spots, and sometimes that favourite spot will be next to you, or even in your lap!
I enjoy exploring and joining in adventures all around the house, too. I'm a reliable assistant no matter what you're doing! Oh, and I love my food and you'll never wonder if I'm ready for my meal because I announce it loud and clear.
I'm one-of-a-kind for sure, and I'll certainly brighten your day with my goofy facial expressions and playful personality :) My foster parents can attest to that and will no doubt boast about it when you meet me!
Like all Maggie's pets, Mikka is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I like to be around my family, always curious to know what they're up to. Whether it's cooking or watching TV, I love to be by your side!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: It tends to match the energy level of my foster parents. When they're up and about I want to get involved and play (I love parkour off the walls in particular - I get some serious airtime!), while on a relaxed evening I'm happy to bunk down in a comfy spot for the night. Overall, I like a balanced day with some exercise and some chilling out :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: An adults-only home, or one with kids aged 10+, will be best for me as I often love attention, but I sometimes need space and alone time and need that to be respected.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Previous experiments in living with cats were not a success, so I'd like to be your one-and-only, please!
I've never had a dog sibling, but I'm a confident fellow who may get on well with an accommodating canine.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
