About Buddy (60970)
Buddy is an interesting character with an old soul. He is looking for a home experienced in either collies or German shepherds. He came to us with a severe skin infection and the difference we have seen in his recovery is remarkable. He now has a beautiful glossy coat, however will need to remain on his speciality diet to make sure his skin stays in tiptop shape. Buddy can be a little sensitive being handled around the back end due to how sore it was but enjoys a bath and the blow-dryer and is getting better with brushing his rear end each day. He is dog friendly and may suit a chilled out female dog in his new home, and would prefer his owners are home more often than not. He would make the perfect couch potato for someone who is looking for a younger dog with less activity level, however he does need further work with his lead skills and can be quite strong on lead. Buddy has no history living with cats or kids and any children in the home are recommended to be older due to his sensitivity of his back end. He is house trained and loves nothing more than resting his head on his person lap getting pats.
