About Lucy
Introducing the beautiful Lucy! Lucy is a Kelpie x (something scruffly) born on 29th August 2022.
Lucy was brought in to us as an unmicrochipped stray & unfortunately no one came looking for her. Since day one she has been incredibly affectionate & sweet with everyone she's met.
Lucy tested well with other dogs. She can be a little unsure when they first meet, but it doesn't take her long to settle with them. If you have a friendly dog at home we will need you to bring them in so we can ensure they get along before being adopted.
Lucy was unfazed by cats & pocket pets. If given a slow & controlled introduction we believe she could live with smaller animals.
Lucy LOVES her human companions & will do whatever she can to be close to you. She will happily be a lap dog if you let her. She is still learning to be comfortable walking on lead & currently lays down if you try to take her out.
Lucy is such a loving girl and wants nothing more than a home she can call her own and not have to worry about losing another family.
If you think you could be that furever family for Lucy, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Lucy's adoption fee is $450 and includes her desexing, lifetime registration & current vaccination. Lucy is also regularly treated for flea and worms.
Lucy is located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
