About Lucinda
Lucinda is a very shy girl looking for an owner with lots of love and patience. Currently in foster care, Lucinda is living with 3 other dogs and is loving having their company. To ensure Lucinda thrives in her new home, and her confidence continues to grow, we are looking for her to be adopted by someone who already has a dog of similar age and size (around 7kgs).
Lucinda is excellent at walking on lead and loves her twice daily walks. Unfortunately Lucinda isn't a fan of cats or small children.
If you think you can offer the right home for Lucinda, please submit an expression of interest to: www.friendsofthepound.com/adoption-expression-of-interest 🐾🐾
Please only apply if you already have a dog of similar age and size to become Lucinda's best buddy.
Adoption details
If there is a cat/dog you would be interested in adopting that you have seen online or met at our Adoption Centres, you will need to fill out an Expression of interest. You can do this at the Centres or online at: friendsofthepound.com/adoption-apply
We only adopt out cats and dogs to locations that are within 2 hours driving distance.
If you are a homeowner, we need a copy of your Rates Notice. If you have a Body Corp, we need their written permission that cat/dog ownership is allowed.
If you are in a rental we need written permission from the Home owner/Letting Agent. The letter needs to be dated within the last week and state the property address, the name of the Occupant (adopter-to-be) and how long you have been at the property.
We cannot accept deposits and no hold can be put on the cat/dog.
All adoptions need to be approved by our Cat, Kitten or Dog Coordinators or Management so you might not be able to adopt the cat or dog at the time you meet them.
We aim to match the cats/dogs with the most suitable owner and home environment. Our goal is to have the cats and dogs go to a home where they can spend their entire lives, which could be up to 20 years or more for a kitten. and 15-20 years for a puppy.
