About Bella
Introducing the cutie Bella! Bella is a Jack Russell x born on 1st January 2017.
Bella has a bit of an interesting history. She was found a few weeks ago with fears that she had been hit by a car. Being after hours she was taken to the emergency vet & was also treated for severe tick paralysis. Unfortunately her microchip details were out of date so the vets brought her into us once she was feeling better. After a lot of investigating we found relatives of her owner who informed us she is very ill & they had rehomed her a few weeks prior. As her new "owner" clearly hadn't treated her well, she was surrendered to the facility for rehoming. As her original owner is so sick, she was unable to provide a surrender profile for her.
Sweet little Bella seems to be scared of most things, so she will need a quiet, loving & patient home where she can rebuild her confidence. For this reason we are recommending a home with no children.
Once Bella starts to trust you, all she wants to do is sit on your lap and cuddle. She spends the majority of her time asleep on her bed as she's too scared to go out for walks at this stage.
Bella was scared of all other animals, so she will need to be the only animal at home.
Bella shows no signs of separation anxiety or food aggression towards humans.
Bella's adoption fee is $500 and includes her desexing, lifetime registration & current vaccination. Bella is also regularly treated for flea and worms.

Bella is located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
