Rossi is a 1.5-year-old giant lap dog. He plays well with other dogs. He is still figuring out how big he is and can be pretty goofy. He is a gorgeous “puppy” full of love with a happy-go-lucky attitude and wants to cuddle with you all day.

Rossi was found in rural Victoria and taken to the pound by someone who must have recognised his sweet nature and that he needed help. Beyond that we know nothing about his background, except that he had a badly shattered right hip bone that has fused and scarred in a terribly painful way for him as a young puppy. He must have been in pain for months, and despite this he has never had a negative bone in his body towards humans; he loves us TOO much.

He is very smart and learns quickly, although you will need to watch your tables and countertops, as he loves to be sneaky with his tongue if food is available. He also believes that he is entitled to every soft and comfy surface in the house and will insist on being in your lap.

He would do best in a home with another dog who he can play with. Rossi loves sleeping on the couch or in your lap, running around outside for short bursts of excitement and going for walks. He does get a bit car sick but is very happy to get in the car.
