Jafar is simply a delightful 2 1/2 year old Kelpie. He has been with his foster carer for 4 weeks and he shows no sign of destructive or misbehaviour or bad manners.

Jafar has been very well trained. He is completely house trained and he follows the commands SIT, DROP, SHAKE HANDS and PAWS DOWN…(to stop him jumping up.)

He has very good food bowl manners and will sit and wait to be told when he may eat.

Jafar is crate trained and loves to go to his crate for comfort. He walks well on his lead.

Jafar loves to play ball and fetch, tug o war and will even dance when commanded (Twirls around) which we discovered by accident.

He doesn’t chew or damage shoes or furniture etc, but he gives his balls and frisbee a good work out.

He loves people, thinks he is a bit of a lapdog because he loves a cuddle and snuggling up to you.

Jafar is good with other dogs and resident cat but would occasionally tease his little resident bros if he was bored.

He travels well in the car, and although he has lots of energy, he can still be quite a laidback dog.

He needs an owner with a lot of room to run around and who will give him a lot of attention and lots of cuddles. I think it would be good for him to have some canine brothers. A working farm would be ideal as he is very intelligent and picks up commands quickly. Otherwise, Jafar needs someone who is willing to go on long walks with him. He will make some person or family a loyal and loving companion.
