Shiva is a sassy little people pup. Once you say hello you’re her friend.
She loves going for walks around the block and she gets so excited when she knows it is walkies time. Due to her age, it best to do short walkie morning and night instead of one big walkies. If you find a stick for her to bring home and chew from the park, she is in heaven.
Shiva has a AAA security rating at home. Don’t let her small size fool you, her bark beats her foster brother who is a Shepard.
Shiva loves to be inside and hanging with the family on her bed (would prefer the couch if allowed) however can wait outside when you are out or need to clean the floors. If she can see you through the door she will give a low whimper to remind you she is there. In saying that, it is not loud and does settle after a while.
When meeting other dogs she will need a slow introduction. Once established Shiva does tolerate dogs around her but not over her body and play needs to be gentle.
As Shiva is a senior gal, her adopter will need to continually monitor any lumps and bumps she has or that may start to grow. It will also be important to manage any arthritis by keeping her a healthy weight, giving her gentle exercise and appropriate supplements.
Shiva is $200 to adopt and comes desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated, heartworm tested (negative) and given flea/tick/worm prevention.
