About Belle
Hello, my name is Belle, and I'm in search of a loving forever home where I can spend my golden years basking in the warmth of your love and the sun. I may be a senior, but I promise you, I've still got a lot of love to give.
You can probably tell from looking at me that I have a bit of a short nose. The technically term for this is brachycephalic. Due to this I am more likely to develop breathing, skin, dental, bone and eye problems. I am all fine at the moment but you will need to make sure you will be prepared for these things in the future if they arise. Regular yearly check, like when I get my yearly vaccinations, would be best to ensure I stay fit and healthy.
I'm a Persian cat, which means I have an air of sophistication about me. My soft, luxurious fur demands gentle attention, and I absolutely adore being pampered with gentle strokes and grooming. I'm not one for overly active play; I prefer lounging in cozy spots and napping through the day. If you're looking for a companion to binge-watch your favourite TV shows with, I'm your girl. I'll happily curl up beside you while you enjoy your downtime.
I have recovered from cat flu. It is very similar to what a cold looks like in humans but it is a cat only strain, so you don't have to worry about me making you sick.. While I have recovered, I will always have it in my system and under times of stress I can show symptoms of it again. If I go home with other felines, it would be best to keep us separated for the first two weeks so I don't risk spreading it to them. If in the future you notice me coming down with the "flu" (sneezing, watery eyes, discharge) then it would be best to take me to the vet for a check-up.
I will need to be kept an indoor only cat for the rest of my life. So If you're looking for a laid-back, low-maintenance feline friend who radiates elegance and grace, I could be the perfect match for you. Love Belle xx
