NOTE: You are unable to meet Mate until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Mate in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.


What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Though I am small I have lots of energy so an active family is a must
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs
• A cat may be ok with a slow introduction.
• I like both friendly male and female dogs
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent with no holes or gaps)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• Lots of love and attention
• I am a clever, young and active doggo - I would be great for dog training, trick training, agility etc.
• I have a high prey drive so I can't go to a home that already has rabbits/guinea pigs or chickens/ducks as I will chase

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Pocket pets or Poultry

My best features:
• Very playful
• Highly food motivated
• I can sit
• I have had some basic obedience training and am a generally well-mannered boy
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs
• Social butterfly
• I am clever and eager to learn so would love a family who will teach me some cool tricks.
• I LOVE toys
• I love attention, hugs, kisses & head scratches
• Exuberant & full of beans
