About Furby 277
Hi friends, my name is Furby & I am looking for my new home!
Due to my laid back nature I am suitable for people who have never owned rabbits before. I promise I'm an easygoing bun! If you're a seasoned rabbit owner then thats ok too - come and meet me!
I'm a comfy bunny and have settled in well at the shelter. My energy needs are quite low - I enjoy eating & snoozing in the sun and thats about it.
I am open to meeting kids of any age - just as long as they play gently with me. I am ok to be picked up just as long as my hind legs are supported.
I'd love a hutch to call my own and lots of things to chew on like wooden blocks and straw. I love all kinds of food & LOVE dandelions.
I have shown staff that I can be toilet trained because I only even go in the one spot - I pride myself on being a very clean bunny!
Please note: We do not know if Furby is suitable to live with cats/dogs.
Post-Adoption Life:With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
Adoption details
Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
