ABOUT
Miss Dottie joined BFF following the death of her breeder owner and a year of a family who didn’t give her the love she deserves. Since being in care she has absolutely thrived, and is now a healthy weight with a healthy coat.
Dottie is missing most of her teeth as we had to pull most of them out given the state they were in , and while this doesn’t affect her appetite it does mean she can be a bit messy and drooly at times. Despite this, she has a very healthy appetite and loves meal times.
Being a Persian, little miss Dottie is a high maintenance lady who requires a lot of TLC. When she arrived in care, she had a significant amount of her coat clipped to deal with severe matting. She needs daily brushing to keep her coat soft and luscious, and someone to clean her eyes to avoid build up of dirt and grime. While she tolerates this well, Dottie’s new family will need to be dedicated to keeping her looking her best!
This little lady is sweet and affectionate, and is often found curled up on her carers lap enjoying pats and love. She will even find a cosy spot in bed at night time. She is also just as happy finding a suitable solo sleeping spot, such as on abandoned box or in a cupboard. Dottie does not have a good history with large dogs, so her new home will need to only have smaller animals present. She does coexist with her carers other cats and small dogs.
