Teddy 🧸❤️

This handsome little guy is Teddy, our 10wk old Kelpie x Cattle mix boy, and what an absolute sweetheart he is!…He is playful and sweet natured and loves to run and play with his brother, Bear in his foster home. Teddy is a great communicator and quick learner.

Teddy has been socialised with a number of small breed dogs and also cats during his time in care. He has recently been transferred to another carer though and now in care with his brother, Bear only. He can be quite mouthy when excited, and would be better suited to kids over 10yrs. Socialisation with other animals at this age is extremely important and will need to be continued on in his forever home. Toilet training is going well, but will need his new family to continue on with this. He is crate trained for sleeping and sleeps soundly through the night!

Although Teddy’s parents were not working dogs, being a Cattle x Kelpie mix, he will need an active family who are prepared to continue on with basic training, leash training and socialisation. He is a smart working breed and will need plenty of mental and physical stimulation.

Teddy will want to join you on adventures to the beach, outings in the car and will need to be an active member of the family both indoor and outdoor.

If Teddy was to be an only dog, he would prefer his people home more often than not. He would also thrive in a home where he had the companionship of another active dog.

Teddy is not suited to apartment life or courtyard situation. He will need a medium to large yard with height appropriate fencing so he has the room to run off some energy. Both of Teddy’s parents were medium sized dogs, so we expect Teddy to be a medium sized dog when fully grown.

All his vet work will be completed by Friday 22nd September, so meets will be organised between now and then, and he will be ready to move in once vet work is done. Teddy is located in Erina on the Central Coast NSW.
