Meet the beautiful Shara
This girl is really something special coming from a life as a breeding girl to the point of near death but still adoring humans of all shapes sizes and ages regardless of how poorly she was neglected.
Shara has been adored by all of us and her foster family and she's never put a foot out of line
She loves to spend time inside with her family , laxing in the family room watching TV or heading on an outing with the family.
Shara has a very placid temperament and will love and adore you until the day she parts this earth
Shara is a gentle, kind and loving girl who we think would make an amazing family addition.
Shara is a Coonhound x just above knee height and weighing in at 29.8 kilos. When she arrived to us some 4 months ago she was only 14 kilos. After a slow and steady journey of nutrition and a regimented feeding program she is now a very healthy girl.
Shara is fine to be at home while her family is at work . school etc as long as she has a yard to play in and is not left for extended hours alone

FAVORITE THINGS
Sharas' list is pretty straight forward . Her hoomans and anything they are doing she is happy to tag along and do it too.
Shara loves going out for a walk and exploring the neighborhood
Sharas favorite game is playing fetch with her ball and she will play with you until your arm falls off lol
She loves sunbaking in the morning sun and snuggles on the couch with her family
Interactions with people
Shara is a gentle and loving girl who greets everyone with kindness and a big smile. She is gentle around children and older people. Shara adores her foster Mum to pisces.
Bathing and Hygiene
Shara has had numerous baths and was fine with a pamper session
She has a very short coat so easy to keep brushed
Animal Social Skills
Shara loves to chase the birds in the yard so chickens are probably not ideal
Shara has been polite and gentle in the company of other dogs but much more interested in he hoomans to be honest. She will play but we haven't seen her overly excited by other dogs company but that may come with time
We have not tested her with cats
Medical
Shara has had a small lump removed from her leg with was benign
She has had numerous blood tests on her recovery from starvation with us and all are normal

Adoption Criteria/ Ideal Home
A home with a med to large yard with shade and shelter and grass to play on.
A home with children is suitable but we would seek dog savvy kind and gentle children who will love her as she deserves
A home that will allow Shara to sleep inside and be treated as a part of the family
A home that will take Shara on family adventures and walks to keep her stimulated and healthy
A home with another dog would be fine but we would be seeking a well socialized male who is loving and really well natured and gentle around other dogs
