About Jack
JACK 💙
TOY POODLE💙
Male💙
7 yrs old 💙
We have had this sweet little boy, behind the scenes for the last 6 weeks, getting his desexing done, hernia removed, vaccinated, clipped and decompressed as best we can in this short time.
A little back history in what we know…
Jack has been a breeding dog, we would say most of his life and hasn’t had much handling from humans. He is extremely timid and scared of his humans. He is in care with a little pack of small females and has been doing extremely well, but their is along way to go for this little boy to realise that most people (we hope) are good people.
Jacks needs a VERY specific, and we will not be compromising on his forever home.
Jack needs a home with one or two confident well rounded little dogs so he can built his confidence. A quiet home as normal life has many noises he is still getting used to. A patient compassionate person/s that understands that Jack needs time and love to trust.
He is a work in progress with his toilet training. Knows how to use a doggie door. Loves loves his food.
In the dog world we hear the words flight or fight with a fear dog, Jack has neither, he just freezes, when you approach him. In saying this, he has improved a little.
We will post videos of him playing and walking with his girls.
But that was 3 weeks in to getting to that point.
Please don’t apply for your elderly parent as a lap dog for them. He is not that.
No children
He has been around cats with no issues.
We want someone that understands this type of rescue furkid, has the time, other furkids and understand the rehabilitation is continual progression.
We can do so much, and it’s not fair to keep him in care for months and months if we can find his perfect forever home soon.
He is in the Gold Coast QLD.
$600
Medical notes
Recently desexed.
Hernia surgery
Adoption details
We shortlist and contact families who may fit the dogs needs. If indications are positive, normally after sleeping on it, a home check is organised, then an adoption agreement is completed, adoption donation (variable on account of age and health of individual dog) is transferred and the dog will become part of your family.
All our dogs have had a consultation with our vet, are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and treated for fleas. As we want every dog to be in its own family we try and fit dogs into forever homes, we don’t offer “Trials”. Naturally unforeseen circumstances arise occasionally where it’s preferable dogs come back to us as per our adoption agreement.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
