About Minnie & Daisy
Beautifully marbled grey tabby Minnie and her equally gorgeous marbled grey tabby sister Daisy were bottle fed and hand raised from just a couple of days old after their mother was tragically killed by a car. Because of this, they are both very used to being picked up and handled. They are friendly, affectionate girls who like to snuggle with a warm body, be it feline or human. Minnie can often be seen surveying everything around her, and sometimes joining her sister in a wrestling match or game of chasey. Minnie also has the most amazingly loud purr that can be heard clear across the room! Daisy is an independent cat, enjoying time alone watching the world go by from the comfort of somewhere high up, or better yet, the safety of somebody’s shoulder. She does occasionally engage in playful wrestling matches with her sister and 3 kittens of similar age. She also loves to whisper sweet nothings into her humans ear and give them a new hairstyle with her tongue.
Neither girl has not had much interaction with children as their foster carers don’t have them, but we expect after a period of adjustment, they would adapt well to an older child 5yrs+ who has been taught how to handle and interact with cats appropriately.
They also hasn’t been tested extensively with dogs. They have met her foster carers small dogs and while they is very unsure of them, she just walks away or hides from them rather than lashing out.
Minnie and Daisy have been hand raised on the bottle with their 2 siblings and 2 other kittens, and have been raised by an adult female cat since she was 8weeks old. Both cats tolerates Emily’s presence well, but is a bit of a scaredy cat when her foster carers have tried to introduce them to other adult cats. With the right introduction protocol though, we are confident they would, in time, adjust to a pre-existing cat in the household.
Minnie and Daisy are seeking a strictly indoor home where there are secure screens on windows and doors. We are confident They would adapt to other calm pets, particularly another cat of similar age, IF introduced appropriately. Hasn’t had much to do with children but we are confident they would adapt to an older child (5+years) if they have been taught how to interact with and handle cats appropriately.
If you feel Minnie and Daisy could be your new purry companions, please contact us now for a meet and greet TODAY!!
Medical notes
Minnie and Daisy have both had all their vetwork done. No other medical notes.
Adoption details
Before Adoption:
Before adopting a new pet, ensure all family members understand that a pet is an emotional and financial commitment that you need to be prepared to love, house and keep safe for the next 15 to 20 years. This means premium nutrition, preventative health care, regular veterinary check-ups and keeping them inside or only having access to a cat proof area or yard. Pet insurance with accident and illness cover gives you piece of mind knowing your pet can get the veterinary care they may need and you will not have to worry about all of the expense.
We start by either emailing you our adoption questionnaire or having a chat on the phone to obtain some details about who you are and what you’re looking for in a feline companion. Next step is to organise a meet and greet. Depending on your location, we bring the feline/s to you or you can come and visit the foster carer's home. There is usually a 24 hour wait from the meet and greet to collecting your new family member so everyone has a night to think things over and so you have a chance to prepare your home. If all goes well and everyone is happy, the adoption paperwork is signed and you collect your new family member.
All adoptions are subject to a two week settling in period. If for any reason your new addition is not suited to your lifestyle, you are welcome to return them for a full refund of the adoption fee.
After adoption, we continue to provide ongoing advice and support in order to help you care for your new family member. To find out more about any of our orphans, please contact Judith on 0407112207. After the settling period we will always take back the cat no questions asked.
