About Penny!!🐶🧡
Are you looking for a lovely dog who adores people and is great with kids? Penny is the most perfect family dog you could ever imagine.
She is 6yo and is a beagle mix.
She’s got cute splodgy markings and an adorably friendly face. She has developed a really sweet bond with her foster family who have two young children. Penny loves to kiss them and snooze on their beds.
Penny is playful, sweet and full of love. She would suit a wide range of homes. She loves a good sniff when she goes for a walk. Sniffing is really important for dogs, as they ‘see’ the world through their noses. Sniffing is mentally and physically stimulating for Penny (and all dogs).
She has shown signs of anxiety after coming into our care from the pound. Pounds are incredibly stressful and noisy environments, so it’s important to understand that she will need time to decompress once she moves from her foster home to her forever home. This goes for any animal.
Penny will need to be an only dog. She’s friendly with other dogs when going for a walk, but likes to have all your attention in her home environment (we totally understand 😅).
Penny knows all of her basic commands. She loves to play chase and hide her toys. Like any pup, Penny will benefit from ongoing training.

Adoption details
When someone contacts us to apply for an animal we will send an application form to be completed. When we receive a completed application form we will share this with the foster carer to approve the applicant.
We will then organise a meet & greet with the applicant and the foster carer to meet the animal, learn about their routine, behaviours and what they eat, drink, etc.
After the meet & greet the applicant is contacted to see if they want to proceed with the application and the foster carer approves the applicant.
We will then complete paperwork, payment and organise a time to have the animal picked up.
Animals are then adopted on a 2-week trial which we stay in touch with and provide support during this time.
Once adopted we will send through vet records & paperwork, transfer their microchip.
We offer communication and support throughout the fostering & adoption process.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
