About Buckminster "Buck" Wild
🌟 Meet Buckminster "Buck" Wild: Your New Furry Best Friend! 🌟
Looking for a feline companion who's as wild at heart as he is loving and charming? Look no further than Buckminster, affectionately known as "Buck" Wild—a male tabby cat who's ready to steal your heart and fill your home with joy!
Buck was found in Blacktown with a severe eye injury, so was taken to SASH by a member of the public. For a cat that has been through a traumatic event that required his left eye to be removed, he is SUPER well adjusted. Buck has a spectacular personality…he is VERY affectionate and likes to give head boinks and love nibbles with kisses. He is also SERIOUSLY food motivated. His foster carers haven’t found a food he doesn’t like yet….he was very good at taking medication and having wounds cleaned for 4-6weeks. Buck is the kind of cat who CRAVES human contact. He loves to sit on his foster carers laps, or stand up in their laps, lean on their chests and give kisses on the chin. Buck has also had his tail removed due to severe suspected tail pull injury. This has not affected his toileting habits AT ALL!
💖 Gorgeous: Buck is not just your average tabby—he's a stunning creature with mesmerizing markings and a regal demeanor that will leave you in awe.
🤗 Affectionate: Get ready for a bedtime buddy who likes to sleep as close as possible to you, including on top of you!
🤝 Friendly: Buck is a social butterfly who gets along famously with both cats and dogs. He's the perfect companion for multi-pet households, spreading his friendly vibes wherever he goes.
🎉 Playful: Don't let his sophisticated appearance fool you—Buck is a playful kitty at heart! He adores chasing toys, exploring new nooks and crannies, and engaging in fun-filled antics that will keep you entertained for hours on end.
🐱 Cat and Dog Friendly: Whether you have other furry companions at home or are considering adding to your fur family, Buck is the perfect addition. He's a socialite who loves making new friends of all species!
🚸 Not Tested with Children: While Buck hasn't had the opportunity to interact with children yet, his gentle nature suggests that he could be a wonderful companion with proper introduction and supervision.
🍽️ Loves His Food: Treat Buck to his favorite meals, and you'll have a friend for life! He's a foodie at heart and takes great pleasure in indulging in delicious treats and meals.
🏡 Indoor Only Home: Buck is content to spend his days indoors, lounging in sunny spots and exploring his indoor kingdom. An indoor-only environment ensures his safety and happiness, allowing him to thrive as a beloved member of your family.

Medical notes
Buck has had all his vet work.
He has had his left eye removed due to severe trauma, and also has had his tail amputated due to a tail pull injury. Buck doesn't let either removal affect him and he toilets normally.
Adoption details
Before Adoption:
Before adopting a new pet, ensure all family members understand that a pet is an emotional and financial commitment that you need to be prepared to love, house and keep safe for the next 15 to 20 years. This means premium nutrition, preventative health care, regular veterinary check-ups and keeping them inside or only having access to a cat proof area or yard. Pet insurance with accident and illness cover gives you piece of mind knowing your pet can get the veterinary care they may need and you will not have to worry about all of the expense.
We start by either emailing you our adoption questionnaire or having a chat on the phone to obtain some details about who you are and what you’re looking for in a feline companion. Next step is to organise a meet and greet. Depending on your location, we bring the feline/s to you or you can come and visit the foster carer's home. There is usually a 24 hour wait from the meet and greet to collecting your new family member so everyone has a night to think things over and so you have a chance to prepare your home. If all goes well and everyone is happy, the adoption paperwork is signed and you collect your new family member.
All adoptions are subject to a two week settling in period. If for any reason your new addition is not suited to your lifestyle, you are welcome to return them for a full refund of the adoption fee.
After adoption, we continue to provide ongoing advice and support in order to help you care for your new family member. To find out more about any of our orphans, please contact Kylie on 0403285440. After the settling period, we will always take back the cat no questions asked.
