About Bob
Bob is a very sweet and timid 6yr old Kelpie boy.
Bob lived and worked at a rural Sale-yards with a crew of other dogs who moved livestock on and off trucks and through the yards. A life consisting of work, eat and sleep. Bob and one of his crew mates wound up in the local pound, for reasons unknown, but most likely just due to a younger crew replacing them.
Bob hasn’t had a lot of socialising in the big wide world but he does love being around other dogs. He is reserved but very polite and will have a play and zoom with his doggie pals. He mostly just enjoys the easy going companionship of other chilled out dogs.
Bob can be a bit wary of humans until he gets to know them. You will then find him coming up for a pat and a chin scratch. He is going to need some very special humans who will be patient, kind and willing to accommodate his need to take things slow. Bob is absolutely no trouble at all. He does not have a mean bone in his body. He simply just prefers the quiet life!
Bob will do best in a home with another friendly dog or two, around his age or older and of any size or breed. He is not suited to a busy family home with lots going on. He is not suited to inner city living but would be ok in outer suburban/rural areas with a large secure yard. He would be happy pottering around the yard and garden with humans who had lots of time to spend outside with him. He is not opposed to several naps in a sunny spot each day either!
If you are kind and patient and willing to work on continued confidence building for lovely Bob - please apply today!
